Jasmine Moore already made history before Thursday's long jump competition began at the Paris Olympics. The Gator alum decided to make some more.

It's been a history-making six weeks for Jasmine Moore.

First, Moore finished top two in the triple jump and long jump at U.S. Olympic Trials, becoming the first American woman to qualify for both events at the Olympics.

In the triple jump final Saturday, Moore finished in third and won bronze.

Yep, you guessed it, she was the first American to win a medal in that event.

She still had the long jump left, and why go to Paris and not win medals?

The Gator alum won bronze in the long jump Thursday evening at the Stade de France at the Paris Olympics.

Moore finished behind American Tara Davis-Woodhall and German Malaika Mihambo. Her best jump came in the first round with a 6.96. She held the lead over Mihambo until her 6.98 in the fifth round.

Moore never repeated her first jump, but she still grasped a lead over the rest of the competition.

Ultimately, the rest of the field trailed Woodhall, who scored the two best jumps of the event.

The Texas native starred for the Orange and Blue in 2022 and 2023. Her bronze gives Florida its 12th medal of the games.

Former Gator Grant Holloway won UF its fourth gold of the Olympics in the 110-meter hurdles Thursday night.

If UF was its own country, it would rank 15th in medals and 14th in golds.
