In 2023, Lakeland and Lake Wales dominated the line the scrimmage, which is the reason they were some of the top teams boasting some potent rushing attacks in Polk County. Lakeland won a second straight state title, adding to its collection of 10 titles, while Lake Wales lost just one game out of 13 last season, advancing all the way to the regional finals.

But also, teams like Haines City, Frostproof and Mulberry had some potent rushing attacks, which is a direct reflection of the offensive line.
