Florida's Mr. Football is going to Missouri.

Cocoa four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs, the reigning Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football, announced his commitment to the Tigers on Thursday.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Boggs is ranked the No. 16 overall player and the No. 5 wide receiver in the state on the USA Today Florida Network top 100.

Boggs initially committed to Ohio State in October before decommitting in March. After reopening his recruitment, he narrowed his list of offers to a final two of Missouri and UCF. He took official visits to both schools in the past six weeks.

Boggs is the first Florida player to commit to Missouri in the 2025 class. The Tigers signed five Florida players in last year's recruiting cycle. Missouri has dipped into Brevard County before, signing Eau Gallie cornerback Davion Sistrunk and Cocoa cornerback Zxaequan Reeves in the 2021 class.

Boggs has helped Cocoa win back-to-back state championships. He initially burst onto the scene as a sophomore in 2022 when he caught 41 passes for 722 yards and six touchdowns.

Boggs emerged as one of the state's best players in 2023, when he caught 93 passes for 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns. He had back-to-back monster performances against elite teams in Weeks 2 and 3 last fall, that helped accelerate his recruitment.

Boggs caught 10 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns against Venice with Charles Lester III, now at Florida State, as his primary defender. A week later, Boggs caught a career-best 11 passes for 180 yards and a career-high four touchdowns at St. Thomas Aquinas.
