Voice of the People (June 23, 2023): US Supreme Court has lost its integrity
Politicians on the Supreme Court?
The politicians sitting on the so-called Supreme Court are without moral or judicial integrity.
Since they answer to no one, not Constitutional boundaries, not even their internal code of ethics, as meager as it is, we are deprived of rights, freedoms and out of a simple reasonable law that will help in our endeavor not to be mowed down by an automatic weapon.
Clearly, these reprehensible politicians in black robes, are supposed to give deference to the people’s representatives in the U.S. Congress unless a law is found to be unconstitutional. Not! We are in trouble, folks. Elections have life-and-death consequences.

Return America back to a secure superpower
Middle class Americans are still paying federal taxes but is the history, culture and heritage that gave birth to this great nation being honestly represented by federal and state politicians?
Our current presidential administration and Congress are not addressing meaningful and honest governing of our country.
America's failing economy, healthcare and national security crisis must be addressed. Additional considerations include immigration growth, assimilation, terrorism, crime, drugs, the federal budget and national debt, open borders, energy independence and upgrading and strengthening our military.
Former President Donald Trump promised in 2016 to Make America Great Again by addressing these failing Socialist issues. His dream has been stonewalled by a do-nothing partisan Congress, anti-American left-wing distractions and often unreliable news media.
It's time the House of Representatives conducts investigations that ensure an honest legal system, drains these socialist swamps and secures our capitalist free markets and constitutional Republic.
Loyal patriotic American citizens need to drain these swamps of federal and state partisan politicians wasting billions of their hard-earned tax dollars.
This November, vote for Donald J. Trump. Let's return America back to a secure superpower that supports liberty, freedom and justice for all legal, American, hardworking, middle-class, taxpaying citizens.

Why Trump's trial was important
Why was Trump’s hush-money trial so important? Perhaps not for the reasons promoted on TV between commercials.
Think of the person or people you most admire. Why do you hold them in such esteem?
Someone you can admire and trust? Someone you try to model your life after? Someone you would like your children and grandchildren to emulate? Someone who had the guts to do the right thing, even if it cost them their life?
We would hope that the President of the United States, who has the power to send our family members in harm's way, would have the above qualities.
Not so long ago, a person who was divorced had no chance of being elected president. Then we elected Donald Trump, who has been married three times and is rumored to have cheated on all three wives. Is that the kind of person you want your children and grandchildren to emulate and aspire to?
Perhaps the trial is not as important as the question: What kind of person do we want to have as our next president?
We thought Roe v. Wade was settled law. President Trump proved us wrong.
How settled is Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid?

Who would Jesus vote for?
There is a sect of America’s population that I refer to as, “Conveniently Christian.” They are the people who like to quote bible versus that support an argument of theirs and disregard bible verses that do not. They are the same ones who ask, “What would Jesus do?” whenever the answer is one they agree with.
So, what would Jesus do when it comes to an election? Would he vote for a 34-count convicted felon? Would he vote for a man who was found liable for the sexual abuse of a woman or one who was found guilty of fraud? Would he vote for someone who never, ever, turns the other cheek but instead attacks by whatever means available? My guess is no.
With that said, conveniently Christian voters will do everything possible to rationalize and make up reasons in their heads to vote for someone with the above-mentioned record. In fact, it speaks more to the type of person a conveniently Christian voter is than the candidate.
