Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland reopens after Debby, but trails remain wet

Lakeland Ledger

Circle B Bar Reserve has reopened after being closed last week because of flooding following Hurricane Debby.

Though the Lakeland property is now open, conditions on the trails remain very wet, Polk County said in a news release. Some portions of the trails may be flooded, and visitors are advised to use caution.

The Marsh Rabbit Run Trail and a portion of the Alligator Alley Trail, closed in June, remain off limits for alligator nesting season. Some trails may be periodically closed on any environmental land site for management and safety reasons, the release said.
