Peace River Center introduces podcast focusing on mental-health issues

Peace River Center has created a podcast, “Finding Your Balance: A Mental Health Podcast,” with assistance from Southeastern University.
Kirk Fasshauer, director of crisis services, and Tiffani Fritzsche, director of children’s services, co-host the podcast, Peace River said in a news release. The 20-minute episodes explore topics such as the difference between mental health and mental illness, support for those experiencing mental health challenges and identifying when someone may need professional mental health support.
The episodes are recorded at Southeastern University in Lakeland.
Peace River Center, based in Bartow, is a licensed and nationally accredited, nonprofit provider of behavioral health care and victim services.
