Jeanna Sue Stotts of Lakeland, FL passed away at the age of 59 on August 2, 2024 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL.
Jeanna was born in Pittsburg, KS in 1965 and spent her early years in Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. She graduated from Joplin High School in 1983 and moved to Lakeland, FL in 1985.
She was an independant, sweet, sassy woman with an amazing spirit who battled rheumatoid arthritis since she was 18. She enjoyed a 35 year career at Wal-Mart, starting in the snack bar and working her way into inventory management. She adored her nieces and nephews and loved and was loved by her family. She loved to laugh, watch TCM and drink Dr Pepper.
Jeanna is survived by her father Oscar Stotts of Lakeland, FL; sister Michelle Stotts-Gillespie and sister-in-law Yvette Stotts-Gillespie of Lakeland, FL; brother Jon Stotts and sister-in-law Lisa Stotts of Tampa, FL; sister Kristina Unwin and brother-in-law Jon Unwin of Dallas TX; and nieces and nephews Nick, Annie, Oliver, Henry, Jack, Maggie and Sam.
Jeanna was preceded in death by her mother Sharon Jean Stotts of Lakeland, FL.
A visitation service will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel, 328 South Ingram Avenue, Lakeland, FL 33801 on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a memorial service will be held at Heath Funeral Chapel on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11 a.m., followed by graveside services at Oak Hill Burial Park, 4620 U.S. Highway 98 South, Lakeland, FL 33812.
